Hunt Orchard

A family tradition that I love is going with Ed's dad and family to Hunt Orchard in Amazonia, MO (where??). It's my favorite pumpkin patch and they have AMAZING apple slushes. And this year we had awesome weather. We have been so spoiled this fall - so thankful!



Brady was most looking forward to shooting the gun at the targets. He did REALLY well.



Little Britches took some shots too. We assured him he had hit something in the pasture beyond :)



The deal is you have to be able to carry the pumpkin you pick. Brett could do this. . . .Brady could carry his for a very short time. :)

The boys also had their first caramel apples (on a stick). I'm already looking forward to next year. . . and yes, I will probably be making them go when their high schoolers. I love pumpkins! :)

BRR Fall Fest

Ed's firm always has a fun Halloween family activity. This year they had their Fall Fest at Old Shawnee Town. The boys didn't dress up (you could go either way), but they did go around to the old buildings and collect candy! They also enjoyed sliding on the big blowup slide, eating snacks and decorating pumpkins.

Game World

The boys are thrilled. For Christmas Santa brought us a Wii and Grandma & Grandpa Rowley gave Brady a DS. I had to laugh (kind of) as I looked back through the pictures I took during Christmas in Lebo. . . .there was definitely a theme of Brett squeezing in to watch someone play their DS (dreaming of getting a chance to play most of the time :)

Brett's Holiday Party 2010

I took Friday morning off and helped with Brett's holiday party - it was a lot of fun. It was also "Holiday hat" day at Brady's school (they had a theme for every day for the last week before Christmas break). It was cute to see all of the Santa hats walking in.

I made 24 goody bags for Brett's party and we signed up for drinks for Brady's Y-Care (after-school) holiday party. It was nice to check these off my list!

Cooper came dressed in a complete Santa costume - it was ADORABLE. Jackson, Brett's "best friend" is on the other side.

First things first - snack time.

They had a busy party - after snacks, they handed out treat bags, exchanged books (Brett busted out crying when he realized another boy was getting the superhero book he had brought - I guess I should have better explained that process!) and got a gift from the teacher's. Then they made 3 ornaments and watched the Charlie Brown Christmas movie. Whoo!

And I have no idea who this little girl is, but she sat by me in "circle time" and kept trying to put that bow on my head. She was too cute and loved for me to take pics of her! :)

Making a list

We've been reminding the boys that Santa knows if they have been good or bad. . . . .they don't know what to expect on Christmas morning, but they have done their best to let him know what they would like. Going in the mail tonight!
