Friday night we went to a "night hike" at the Ernie Miller Nature Center. After walking through some of their trails in the pitch dark with flashlights we ended the hike with a bonfire and snacked on apples and popcorn while the leader told us funny stories from her childhood.
And then Saturday night we went to Grandma & Grandpa Jones' annual Barn Party - always a fun time! Brett loved sitting by the bonfire and the apple cider and Brady enjoyed the music and dressing up in all of his cowboy gear. They both enjoyed the caramel apples and
cookies/cupcakes!
And the kids had a picnic for lunch Sunday. It is SO fun to see Brett be able to finally communicate with his brother - they are really starting to play together well and becoming great friends!

It is funny to hear them have conversations together. They seem so old--no babies any more.
