It wasn't 100 degrees so it didn't really feel like the 4th of July, but we had fun!

"Rascal" - one of my parent's barncats was caught and Breckyn nursed it all weekend so it could become their pet in Ellinwood. Isn't she cute?

Everyone (but us) spent most of the day Friday getting horses ready for the 4th of July horse show in Lyndon, but unfortunately the show got rained out. Everyone still got to ride Barney - I felt a little sad that Levi is in retirement, but Barney did awesome with them.

After the parade Saturday evening, we went to the pond and Brady shot a bow and arrow, shot a gun and played on the big tank for a long time while Brett enjoyed the playground (swings).

We usually park outside of the park and watch the fireworks from across the way, but this year we sat in chairs/kids on blanket in the park and it was very cool to see the fireworks so close. I think the kids had a great time laying out there - Brady chased fireflies before they started and they all had glow-in-the-dark bracelets/necklaces.

Sis! Can't believe you left out the part about the fantastic music we had during the fireworks! Yo Bro!
Oh BT, that is undescribable.
