Brady's friend Gunther seems to be the "Hot Wheels" leader at school. Brady thought Gunther said the commercial said, "Hot Wheels . . . . Be fast!" and then come to find out later, Gunther told him it was actually "Beat that!" This is a conversation Brady and I have had frequently. . .
Brett has always had a fascination with cars - lining them up every way possible and meticulously moving them up 2 inches and starting all over again.
Brady has never been that patient or detail oriented, but he IS a collector. He loves to collect things and now wants to keep all of them in his room (yes, that is why there is a small pile of "white rocks" - aka "gravel" - in the middle of his bedroom floor). Last night as we were looking for a big bouncy ball at Wal-Mart, we walked by a Hot Wheels display and Brady asked for one. I said "not tonight, we have so many already" and he replies "Mom, but the commercial says you can collect all of them."
Yikes!
