The Boy in the Striped Pajamas

I saw someone somewhere say this was their favorite book so I picked it up from the library and was surprised to see it was published in the 1970's and only about 100 pages long. Since the book jacket didn't tell what it was about, I started reading it with no idea what it was about and it was amazing. I was so touched by the story that I wanted to share it, so I bought it for my dad's birthday.

I see it's now coming out as a movie and has received really good reviews. But I always say movies can never do a book justice - so if you can read the book before seeing and reading about the movie, it's totally worth it.
