Recovering from Surgery

The boys had their hernia surgery yesterday morning and although it was long process, everything seemed to go okay. We were home by noon and the boys rested all afternoon.

But as I mentioned in my last post - Brady had some bleeding during the night so we took him back to the hospital this morning. Because they were unable to determine what was causing it, they put Brady to sleep again and the surgeon tried to find why he was bleeding. Without finding a definite cause, Brady had blood work done this afternoon and had to stay in the hospital for a couple extra hours to make sure he wasn't bleeding. He didn't bleed at the hospital and we have an appt. with the hemotologist Friday afternoon.

We kept busy reading books and putting together puzzles. Dad even found a whole tub of little army men to play with!
